Rabac is situated in the Kvarner Bay, near Labin. Because of its beautiful bay and picturesque region it soon developed into a tourist spot. Although Rabac - the pearl of Kvarner, may accommodate 10,000 guests in a day in its hotels and camping sites, private apartments, breath and spirit of the former fishing village can be felt and still retains on each step you make. The string of beaches, bays and lush Mediterranean vegetation, numerous restaurants offering local cuisine, fishing or pleasure boats and hospitable hosts offer to its visitors relaxation, peace and imaginative entertainment. Every summer the festival "Melodies of Istria and Kvarner" are held here in Rabac, beside to the summer carnival, folk festivals, which offer local indigenous culinary there are also folklore evenings, live music and lots of concerts and numerous other events.
