Slatine - Tourist guide

Slatine is a place on the island of Ciovo which is connected with the town of Trogir with a bascule bridge. After passing the bridge the regional road leads to the left and to the right. You must turn left and drive for some 7 km to reach the place. The entire island of Ciovo is known for its magnificent beaches, shoreline rich in vegetation and numerous small places. Beaches in the place are rocky, concrete or pebble with very pictoresque fisherman taverns and cafés directly by the sea.

Visit Slatine and yield to its quietness which is very specific for this village a bit distant from the city and the rush. When you feel like a more dynamic life, take a walk through the streets of Trogir nearby which offers plenty of interesting culturtal events or the night entertainment for those looking for active vacations. Its geografic position also permits trips to Krka waterfalls, the city of Split, Sibenik, of course Trogir or the other places on the island of Ciovo like Donji Okrug, Gornji Okrug and Arbanija, while the airport is only 15 km away.
