Sv. Jakov is a small fishing village located in the northwestern part of the island of Losinj. It is a peaceful village. There are olive groves around the village and there are sandy coves on the coast where swimming is pleasant. St James lies between two bays. The first bay, which is a port, was named after the walled cold water spring, where cattle was drinking in the past. There are two churches in the village : St. James from the 11th century and St. Mary from the 19th century. You can find accommodation in private houses, rooms and apartments.
