The island of Brac is a large coastal centre with its own harbour and airport. The famous white stone of Brac has been used all over the world, even in the White House in Washington. Traditional seaside are to be found everywhere on the island and the biggest attraction is Bol, the largest tourist centre known for its tennis tournaments and unique sandy beach. Bol is the only inhabitated place on its southern side and the oldest town on the coast of Brac. Today the place is renomated for its great number of turists coming every year. The location which symbilizes the place is the wide beach of Golden Cape (Zlatni rat), one of the most beautiful Adriatic beaches and the reason of proudness of its inhabitants. This cape of the long form, covered with million of the small sand grains, emerge in the cristal blu sea with its all longitude and changes its form according to the sea currents. It is the real paradise for those who like surf and other water sports.

Supetar is a town and harbour on the northern coast of the island of Brac, one of the most attractive Middle Dalmatian islands. With its 3500 inhabitants it represents the biggest place on the island. Supetar was built in the cove of St Peter by which it obtained its name. From the 1827 Supetar is the administative centre of the island, accordingly the city architecture follows styles of the XIX secolo visible in the stone costructions which surround Riva. It is considered today as one of the main tourist centres. Sutivan (Stivan) is a village and harbour in the extreme west of the northern coast of the island of Brac.

Bobovisca on the Sea, Bobovisca and Lozisca are three small settlements just north of Milna, which make an encompassed unit with a beautiful fiord where Bobovisca on the Sea is the sea access to the other two villages. Milna is the biggest and the southernmost small town on the west coast of Brac. Since the bay of Milna is the safest and best harbor on the island, protected from all winds except from pleasant summer mistrels, a marina with 200 berths has been built in the bay.

Postira is a well-known tourist destination on the northern coast of the island. Due to its favorable location, Postira developed into a harbor and fishing settlement. Guests will be served homegrown food and excellent wines produced in the fertile surrounding fields. Pucisca is a place and harbor also on the northern coast of the island. Together with Supetar it represents the biggest town on this island, caracterised by typical Mediterranean qualities. This place developed on stone, because of stone and it was constructed from stone. Povlja is a village in the cove bearing the same name, on the north-eastern coast of the island.
